Tell your MASPAS story

This week we launched the micro-site for MAPAS, the Music and Performing Arts Service branch of Salford Community Leisure.

MAPAS is celebrating its 50th Birthday next year and we wanted to collect stories and contacts from its alumni that can be shared to raise awareness of this community focused service.

The webpage encourages users to tell their MAPAS memories by submitting their details, story and photo. These are then sent to a moderator, and once approved will appear within the gallery.

The microsite is also fully embedded into Facebook desktop as a tab and offers Facebook log in, so users don’t need to move away from Facebook to enter.

The app will be supported by a location-targeted Facebook advertising campaign and hashtag #MAPAS50Years to drive views and story entries.

Have you grown up in Salford or Manchester and used the MAPAS service? Get involved! Upload your story on the webpage HERE: http://ow.ly/T430S
