The brief
To design a new website showing The Government’s support (along with a range of regional partners) for local communities and businesses during the credit crunch.
Our approach
As with anything governmental the brief required immediate action. It also needed to be ‘brandless’. With so many organisations involved, a new brand, or identity would only serve to confuse and potentially alienate key audiences. Therefore we proposed a simple illustrative style for the website – that was easy to produce (quickly!) and sat comfortably with the broad targets, namely ‘struggling employers’ and ‘unemployed workers’. The site acts as a portal for help and advice as well as providing up-to-date information about the support available from local and national government.
Results
Tangible results are hard to quantify, but in fulfilling the need for a brandless, effective and immediate response to a critical need our client and the regional minister were suitably impressed.
Client testimonial
“We are delighted with the results of the website. The site was up and running within six weeks and has received excellent feedback from users. The team from Access were extremely supportive and a pleasure to work with.”
