Haydock Park Racecourse is equidistant between Manchester & Liverpool, yet 80% of its business is derived from Merseyside.
Our approach
Access decided to bring the races to the streets of Manchester! We held a corporate hospitality event in Great Northern Square – inviting the great and the good of Manchester’s corporate world to a lunchtime event, hosted by Haydock Park and featuring racing, betting, live race feeds on a giant screen and we even invited an award-winning horse to be the star of the show!
Results
What a great day out! The weather was fantastic and Manchester certainly enjoyed the races – Haydock achieved some great coverage and made some new and very influential friends among the Manchester elite. It was a first for any UK racecourse and provided us all with a lasting and enjoyable memory.
