The Brief
To design the ICO’s Annual Report document to show the Office’s achievements over the last year, to demonstrate the value they add and show that they operate in an effective, transparent and accountable way. The ICO requested an informative, cohesive and interesting format.
Our Approach
We advanced the ICO’s previous reports bringing their image up to date without drifting away from the ICO feel. The new design emphasises on the actions performed by ICO and how they have made a difference.
Using a ‘hands and cogs’ theme we illustrated that ICO are hands-on with their approach, creating solutions to keep everything turning, working together to solve problems and creating routes that fuel the machine of a protective force. The Report is designed to be very clear and easy to follow giving equal prominence to theme imagery and content.
Results
Due to the success of the project and our working relationship with ICO we were awarded other jobs to design in the same format as the Annual Report. These included the ICO’s Corporate Plan, an Annual Report Summary and an Annual Report Launch invite.
