Trafford Centre: The Trafford Centre Magazine

The brief

To design and produce the twice-yearly magazine for the Trafford Centre as it looked for greater economies and increased customer inspiration.

Our approach

Our catalogue experience paid dividends here as we were firstly asked to identify key fashion trends for the forthcoming season and liaise with PR departments at the major fashion chains to find suitable imagery and news for the magazine. Rather than stick to the grid format, we bolstered the design with an accentuated ‘magazine’ feel, which resulted in a hard working, fast-flowing publication fit for the Northwest’s leading shopping centre.

Results

It looks great! And with nearly 50% more product in the same number of pages, we have certainly made it a far more ‘selling’ proposition rather than just a glossy catalogue!
