The four new Access staff membersManchester based creative agency Access Advertising Marketing and Design Access is on the increase after taking on four new members of staff, which brings the total head count to 18.

This growth is a result of recent new business wins with clients including JD Williams, Turtlewax and Manchester city centre management company Cityco coming on board in recent months. And the new in-take runs company wide, strengthening both the creative and artwork teams.

The creative department has taken on two new starters, in the shape of Mia Bengtsson, Senior Designer and Mark Holland, Junior Art Director. Swedish-born Mia joins from Unit Communications where she headed up the design side of the business, but being a good all-rounder, at Access she will embark upon everything from branding to illustration. While award-winning Mark, a recent Design and Art Direction graduate from MMU will focus his attention on the advertising side of the business.

Bolstering the burgeoning web division Access Digital, Paul Gregory joins as Web Developer, responsible for the programming of sites, with his first task being the delivery of a 200 page multi-language site for Hydratight. This new recruit is an exciting move for Access Digital which was only launched in February 07 and has already successfully delivered 20 digital projects.

And Simon Critchley joins the artwork department as Artworker/Mac Operator. His eye for detail will ensure all jobs leaving Access are checked and set, ready for print. Prior to joining Access Simon freelanced for a year, working with clients such as Littlewoods and Iceland.

Simon Landi, Managing Director at Access comments on this expansion: “Over the last year we have seen many exciting developments at Access, we’ve won lots of new clients, we’re entering into new territories such as Europe and the US, and we’re delivering new and exciting projects, working with different advertising medium that we hadn’t previously delivered. Taking on new colleagues was the icing on the cake, and it marks a very buoyant period for us. I’m looking forward to what 2008 will bring.”
